Dan has been teaching drums for 15+ years, and gigging and recording in a variety of bands and styles for over 20 years.

After receiving scholarship to the Berklee College of Music in Boston in early 2014, he was simultaneously offered to play with Indie Rock Band “Stereo Match” in Los Angeles.

He has since toured the U.S. with several bands, recorded multiple length albums, and maintained a consistent base of student’s from ages 3 to folks in their 70s.

Lessons

Dan Dowsett Drum Lessons offers lessons in person or online to all skill levels and ages. Lessons include many musical genres and styles, reading, posture, technique, musicianship and more. Lessons may also incorporate Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) technology, if the student is so inclined.

An emphasis on music production, sampling, song arrangement, and composition are also a big part of Dan's lessons.
